City Robotics Championship started in the capital

The qualifying round of the city robotics championship "Robotek Grand Tournament" has started at school-Lyceum No. 8 in Astana. 53 Public Schools, 6 Private Schools, 8 private robotics clubs, NIS, 187 teams from the Palace of schoolchildren take part in the Championship, the official website of the city akimat reports.
The contest was held with the support of the city akimat and the Center for identification and support of gifted children and talented youth "Astana daryny" Robotek.kz " the school of robotics organized jointly.
"The robotics championship is being held in the capital for the second time this year. The main goal of the championship is the development of engineering and robotics in Kazakhstan. If last year's competition was limited to the city level, then this year the Championship will be raised to the national level. The strongest teams selected from each region will compete next year. Because children have a special interest and demand in this area
